Netanyahu honors 70,000 Jewish victims of Ponary massac re

"95% of Lithuanian Jews were murdered during the Holocaust," Netanyahu said, "we will never be defenseless again." 



Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara attended a memorial service held in the Vilnus suburb of Panerriai (formally Ponary) and laid flowers at the monument honoring the 70,000 Jews slain there by the Nazis.  The ceremony was attended by Lithuanian Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis and his wife Silvija Skvernel? and the chairwoman of the Jewish Community in Lithuania Faina Kukliansky. 

"Zločin koji je ovdje počinjen ne može se zaboraviti " i dodao da je ubijeno joši 30.000 ne-Židova Poljaka i Rusa.   "95%  Litvanskih Židova je ubijeno u Holokaustu- mi nikada više nećemo biti bez bespomoćni" rekao je  Netanyahu

Premijer  Izraela  Benjamin Netanyahu i njegova žena Sara sudjelovali su u memorijalnom obredu održanom u  poredgrađu Vilniusa (   Panerriai (formally Ponary) i položili cvijeće na spomenik koji komemorira 70.000 Židova koje su ubili nacisti. Sudjelovali su  i premijer Litvanije S aulius Skvernelis   i njegova žena Silvija te predsjednica Židovske zajednice  u Litvi Faina Kukliansky.  
 Predsjednik se obratio  Faniji  Brancovskoj,  preživjeloj iz geta u Viniusu te ju nazvao herojem i rekao " Mi ćemo Vam  uvijek  "salute" .

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived in Vilnius on Thursday for a meeting with the leaders of the three Baltic states, as part of his effort to create sub-alliances inside the EU to counteract what he views as often unfair treatment of Israel from Brussels.

“I am interested in balancing the not-always-friendly EU approach toward the State of Israel, so that we can get a more reasonable approach,” he said, before boarding his plane. “I do this through contacts with blocs of countries within the EU – the countries of Eastern Europe, now with the Baltic states and, of course, with other countries.”
