EU's Ashton slams Gaza rocket attacks on Israel
Catherine Ashton, the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the Commission has slammed the recent barrage of rockets aimed at regions and towns in southern Israel
Catherine Ashton, Visoki predstavnik za vanjske poslove i sigurnost Europeske zajednice je osudila nedavno raketiranje gradova i područja južnog Izraela.
"I strongly condemn the recent rocket attacks on Israel, for which the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, which is listed by the EU as a terrorist organization, has claimed responsibility. There can be absolutely no justification for the deliberate targeting of innocent civilians, and I call for an immediate end to such acts,” Ashton said in a statement.
